Saccharomyces boulardii yeast probiotic PLUS immune system support

InternaCALM is a high-strength Saccharomyces boulardii probiotic yeast, with 5 billion CFU organisms per capsule, PLUS olive leaf extract, vitamin D3 and biotin.

Saccharomyces boulardii is a unique, non-pathogenic and tropical yeast (fungus). Unlike most probiotics which are bacteria based, Saccharomyces boulardii is a yeast – a hardy, acid-resistant, temperature-tolerant micro-organism that is not affected by antibacterial agents or antibiotics.

It differs greatly from other better-known probiotic species, such as acidophilus and bifidobacterium strains for example. What’s more, although it is in the same genus as Saccharomyces cerevisiae (baker’s, brewer’s or dietary yeast), Saccharomyces boulardii is not linked to the Candida species (Candida albicans, tropicalas, etc.), Crohn’s disease or any other disease.
